Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Kids love cookies and they love chocolate too. That’s why we have put those together to come up with these chocolate chunk cookies. Serve these to your kid with a glass of hot milk. It tastes best when you dunk it in hot milk and take a bite. Give it a try!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, soft
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup chopped chocolate
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180 C and grease a large baking sheet.

Step 2

In a bowl, sift maida, baking powder, baking soda and powdered sugar.

Step 3

Add butter and using your hands mix it till you see dough crumbles. Add milk little by little such that the dough comes together. Add in the chopped chocolate and fold them in the dough.

Step 4

Make about 20 small balls of the dough and place them on the greased baking tray. Make sure to keep some distance between each of them.

Step 5

Using the back of a fork, press down the cookie dough ball a bit.

Step 6

Bake in the oven for 15-18 mins till done. When they start browning a bit on the edges, they are done.

Step 7

Take them out and let them cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes. Then, transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Step 8

Store in an airtight container. Enjoy with a glass of milk.
