Instructions

  2. Slice the lotus stems into small pieces.
  3. Take a heavy-bottomed pan and put the sliced lotus stems, chopped carrots, chopped Chinese turnip, chopped ginger, lotus seeds, goji berries, salt, and white pepper. Cook covered for at least an hour or until all ingredients cook well.
  4. Mash the contents and strain them.
  5. Serve at room temperature, topped with finely chopped cilantro!
