Quick & Easy Breakfast Recipes for Lazy Days
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially for the grown-up kids. We should not skip our child’s breakfast, but still, sometimes moms don’t have the time or the energy to make food for their kids. This doesn’t mean that mothers have to compromise with their kid’s health and nutrition. Here are some recipes for your lazy days:
1. Banana Oatmeal Pancakes
Ingredients: 2 bananas, half cup oats, half cup milk, half teaspoon cinnamon powder, two tablespoon honey
Method: Take a bowl and mash the bananas. Add all the remaining ingredients. Rest it for fifteen minutes. Mix it and make a smooth batter. Now on a hot pan pour one big spoonful of mixture. After two minutes flip it and cook for another two minutes. Now it’s ready to serve.
2. Ragi Halwa
Ingredients: Half cup ragi flour, two tablespoon sugar, 500ml water, one teaspoon ghee
Method: Heat a pan, add ghee, ragi flour, and roast it on a medium flame for five minutes. Then add water and sugar. Simmer it for two minutes. Your ragi halwa is ready.
3. Moong Dal Chillas with Vegetables*
Ingredients: one cup moong dal (soaked overnight), a pinch of black pepper powder, half teaspoon chat masala, salt as per taste, mixed vegetables (grated carrot, roughly chopped onion, tomato, capsicum, cabbage, coriander leaves), some grated cheese
Method: Grind the soaked dal. Add black pepper, chat masala, and salt. Heat a pan and pour the dal batter and put some chopped vegetables on top and then some cheese. Now cover it with lid and cook for five minutes on low flame. Serve it with tomato sauce.
4. Strawberry & Almond Milkshake
Ingredients: 10-15 almonds (soaked overnight), honey, chopped strawberries
Method: In a blender jar, add the almonds and one cup of water. Blend it well. Add honey and strawberry then blend it again. Pour the milkshake in a glass and garnish with some strawberries.
