It can be very difficult for a mother to see her child in pain. When a baby is unable to sleep at night, it can be very hard for a new mom to deal with. A newborn baby’s skin is so sensitive that he may develop rashes anytime. If proper care is not taken, a newborn may have skin problems.
I have been using Pampers diapers for my child from day one. Initially, my baby’s skin developed red rashes and I freaked out. One day, I discussed this issue with my friend; she told me to not use wipes on my baby as they contain alcohol. She told me that the problem was not with the diapers, but with the wipes. My baby’s paediatrician also said the same. The paediatrician told me that I should use baby wipes only while travelling with my baby, that too in case of an emergency. The better alternative suggested to me was wet cotton balls.
I switched from wipes to soft cotton balls dipped in normal water. This worked wonders on my baby’s skin. While changing diapers every 2 hours, I use Himalaya baby powder and Himalaya diaper rash cream. Thankfully, my baby never had rashes again. Rashes develop because of wetness and lack of hygiene, and not from diapers. I started using Pampers Premium Care Pants for my baby, and I must say these diapers are super-soft and very good for the soft skin of babies. They have aloe vera and their elastic stretch is also so soft that it does not feel like elastic.
New moms are always worried about their babies and feel pressured as everyone is ready with their suggestions. But what is good for a baby, no one can tell other than a mother. Yes, a baby should also be given diaper-free time in between. My this post is for every new mom who feels confused whether she should use diapers or not for her baby. I hope
