Carrot is a rich source of beta-carotene, an antioxidant that gets converted to vitamin A in your body. Vitamin A helps develop good eyesight for your baby. Energy dense potato adds thickening effect to the puree, add water or milk if you need to thin down the consistency. This puree will make baby feel full for a good time. While introducing your baby, do not use any oil and spices.

Ingredients
- 1 peeled and chopped carrot
- 1/4 cup peeled and chopped potatoes
- 2 cups filtered water
- A slice of lemon
Method
Step 1
Put water and the chopped potato and carrot in a pressure cooker.
Step 2
Cook for two whistles or until the vegetables are soft.
Step 3
Cool slightly and blend in a mixer to a smooth purée.
Step 4
Pour the purée into a broad non-stick pan and bring to boil, with occasional stirring.
Step 5
Squeeze lemon for taste.
Step 6
Serve lukewarm.
