Strawberry Banana Soy Smoothie

Presenting this delicious recipe that is loaded with potassium from bananas, vitamin C and antioxidants from strawberries, and protein from soy milk. Here’s what we call your perfect fitness companion. Psst, you can use frozen bananas and strawberries for a smooth, ice-creamy texture!

Ingredients
- 200 gm strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 200 gm bananas, fresh or frozen
- 350 ml soy milk
- 4 tbsp sugar / honey
- ½ cup ice cubes
- A few sprigs of mint
Method
Step 1
Wash strawberries and dice into pieces.
Step 2
Peel and cut bananas into 1 inch slices.
Step 3
Pulse the strawberry and banana pieces in a blender. Keep a few aside for garnish.
Step 4
Add soy milk, sugar / honey and ice cubes.
Step 5
Pulse it again on low speed until well blended. If frozen fruits are used, the smoothie would have the consistency of a soft-serve ice cream.
Step 6
Serve immediately. Garnish with mint sprigs and a slice of strawberry.
