Milkshakes are versatile and are a healthy food for ages. Include the goodness of fruits and milk in your child’s diet at the same time! Substitute fruits of your choice(except citrus fruits) in this recipe of milkshake. Chikoo, mango, apple, banana etc make for excellent tasting milkshakes.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 40 gm sugar (optional)
  • 30 gm broken ice (optional)
  • 2 glasses of milk
  • 20 gm Ice cream (Optional)

Method

Step 1

Cut the avocados and keep it aside.

Step 2

Using a spoon, remove the pulp and transfer it to the blender.

Step 3

Now, in the blender, add sugar, broken ice and milk.

Step 4

Blend it till it becomes a thick pulp.

Step 5

Add milk to make it thinner.

Step 6

Avoid serving the milkshake with sugar, ice or ice cream to your baby.

Step 7

You can add a scoop of your favourite ice cream, however that’s optional.

Step 8

Serve immediately in tall glasses.
