  • Take the flour in a bowl. Slowly, add milk to it to make a smooth paste.
  • Add the cream, powdered sugar, and fennel seeds to it, and mix well.
  • Add more milk if you want. However, the consistency of the batter should be thick enough to make pua.
  • Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan.
  • Take a ladle-full of batter and pour it on the pan. Spread it evenly and let it cook from both the sides.

  • Half a litre of skimmed milk

  • 300-400 ml of milk
  • 3 cups pasta
  • 1 medium-sized green capsicum, chopped
  • 1 medium-sized yellow capsicum, chopped
  • 100 grams of mushrooms, chopped
  • 100 grams baby corns, chopped
  • 2 medium-sized onions, chopped
  • 4 to 5 garlic cloves, crushed
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 to 3 tbsp of cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of butter


  • Boil the pasta in water for 7 to 8 minutes on medium flame or until it is done. Drain and keep aside.
  • In a pan, melt some butter and add the onions. Cook for two to three minutes over medium flame.
  • Add the crushed garlic, baby corns, and mushrooms. Cover the pan with a lid and let the veggies cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add the green and yellow capsicums and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Add the boiled pasta, basil leaves, salt and pepper, and cook for a minute or two.

  • 2-3 capsicums, chopped
  • 2 tbsp of cashew nuts soaked in half a cup warm milk

  • ½ tsp of turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp of coriander powder
  • 1 tsp of garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ghee


  • Grind the soaked cashew nuts to make a smooth paste.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan. Add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • Add the onions and sauté until it turns golden brown.
  • Add the tomato puree, crushed green chillies, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, and coriander powder, and cook until the ghee separates from the masala. Add the capsicums and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until they turn tender.
  • Add the milk and cream to it and let the gravy cook. Add the paneer cubes and cook for two to three minutes.
  • Serve hot with paratha or chapati.

  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of ripe pineapple chunks

  • Add the food colour, soaked kesar, and sugar. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.

7. Lauki Halwa

  • 1 ½ litre of milk
  • 1 small lauki, approximately 300-400 grams
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • Peel and grate the lauki. Squeeze the grated lauki to extract water and keep aside.
  • Heat some ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.
