  • Powdered jowar -1/2 cup
  • Salt
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Chopped mixed vegetables – 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp

  • Tomatoes – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Onions – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Coriander – 2 tbsp

How to Make:

  • Combine the salt and powdered jowar with 3 cups of water. Place it inside a pressure cooker and mix well. Cook for 4 minutes.
  • Let the steam escape and then open the lid.
  • Heat some oil in a deep dish or pan. Add a dash of asafoetida and the mustard seeds.
  • When the seeds crackle, put the mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, cauliflower, and green peas) in the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.

  • On a medium flame, heat the tawa. Grease some parchment paper with oil. Grease your fingers as well.
  • Take a dough-ball and flatten it on the greased sheets. It should be of a medium thickness.

  • Spread some ghee. Cook both sides of the flatbread on a medium flame.
