The Beauty of Breastfeeding: A Graceful Act That Every Mother Cherishes

Breastfeeding is the most effective way of providing all the nutrients to the baby. It adds beauty to motherhood. I am blessed to breastfeed my little one.

The first thought that came to my mind during the third trimester was breastfeeding. I was fearful of whether ” I will be able to breastfeed my baby or not”. Even though I would consume all the food items that help me lactate, this thought had an enormous impact on my physical and mental stability. However, my baby has helped me calm down with her tiny moments in my womb.

Finally, the day has come, which I had been waiting for nine months. I had a broad smile and tears of happiness on my face throughout the day and that was the best day of my life. As soon as I gave birth to my baby, I was shifted to the post-pregnancy NICU. Then the nurse brought my daughter for feeding. They asked my consent whether I was ready to breastfeed my baby. I was 100% ready for this moment for a very long time. I started breastfeeding my child. At first, I was not able to hold my baby and feed her as she was very fragile and I was a bit scared of dropping her down from my hands. Eventually, when she actually start drinking, that was a magnificent moment which I could not express in words. During that moment I felt the greatest emotion of motherhood. I would say that was the proud moment for me as a mother when I was able to breastfeed and give her all the nutrients. For every mother, this would be a wonderful moment. The warmth felt by the baby and the mother while holding them in their hands is an epic moment and a blessed gift for motherhood.

I conclude that breastfeeding is a precious moment for a mother and a pleasant experience.
