All About a Healthy Pregnancy – A Small Initiative to Help You Out
Hello to all the beautiful moms-to-be!
There is a message I need to pass to all the mommies to be out there – “Remember this is the most beautiful nine months of your life. You will be pampered by everyone and everywhere, whether strangers or family members; hence, make the best of this time, eat healthily, and get pampered.”
To ensure healthy eating, it is best to increase the intake of liquid. The more the liquid intake, the more it would be great for the baby and the new mommy. You can have lime juice, fruit juices, coconut water, or even plain water. Consuming liquid is very good for the baby’s skin and hair. Keeping eating all kinds of dry fruits is very important to develop the baby’s overall growth. Eat green leafy vegetables and almost everything you want your baby to eat because the mother’s eating pattern is connected to the baby’s. In between, if you crave to eat junk like pizza, burger, or ‘vada pau,’ you can have it at times.
Expecting moms also need to keep one thing in mind – “be active, be involved in physical activities, go walking with your partners (a romantic walk indeed).” You can also read good books to keep your mind fresh. Maintain the habit of reading aloud so that the baby can hear too; listen to good music that can make a great difference to your and baby’s mental health.
When I was pregnant, I followed all these routines. However, my physical activities were not that much, so I ended up having a C section because the baby’s head was not coming down. So, I request all you moms-to-be to walk regularly, eat well, and rest well; then, you do not need to go through what I went through.
Keep going, mommies; there is a lot on the way. Remember to enjoy yourself and stay happy.
