Chocolate Sandwich! Yes, you read it right. This sandwich is a perfect way to quench your kid’s craving for chocolate. Both, simple and decadent, when you grill the sandwich, the golden lines that the griller lays over it will make them look absolutely gorgeous. With less than 5 ingredients, you will definitely hook on to this one. Let us tell you one simple tip, replace chocolate with nutella and watch the sandwich vanish within seconds.

  • 150 gm dark chocolate, grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 bread slices
  • 10-15 almonds, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp condensed milk
  • Cheese (Optional)


Step 1

Heat a double boiler and add one tablespoon butter to the inner bowl of the double boiler. Add half of the dark chocolate and allow it to melt. Add condensed milk and take the double boiler off the heat. Stir well.

Step 2

Roast almonds in a pan and slice them vertically.

Step 3

In a plate, take bread slices and grease them with butter on one side. Spread melted chocolate on the buttered side of the slice and cover it with the other slice.

Step 4

Place these sandwiches on the griller and grill till they turn light brown on both sides.

Step 5

Remove from the griller and wait till the sandwich cools down. Serve at room temperature. Otherwise, the chocolate may remain hot and may lead to scalding of mouth.
