#AskTheExpert sir, wife is diabetic, she conceived on OHA, (metformin and glimepiride). as I know metformin is safe in pregnancy, does glimepiride cause any harm?. now wife's treatment changed, now she is on insulin(4.4.5 IU) and Metformin 500mg TID.

A. When was the medication changed? How many days and she taking that medication? Usually shifting to insulin will be helpful but this info might help.so Write Your Answer Here

A. hi .. yes glimipride is not safe in pregnancy that why tt of ur wife has been changed .. so plz follow up with your doctor for proper examination and treatment
