Mushroom Soup with Parsley
For a woman who wants to conceive, it’s very important that her menstrual and ovulation cycles remain regular, and proper nutrition goes a long way in ensuring this. This is a velvety yet light soup – low in calories and with the goodness of mushrooms. It’s a perfect and nutritious ‘in-between-meals’ snack.

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp flour
- 4 cups water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes (optional)
- 5 oz shitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 tbsp light butter (optional)
Method
Step 1
In a blender, blend cold water and flour until smooth
Step 2
Pour into a medium pot and set heat to medium
Step 3
Add celery, mushrooms, chicken bullion, butter and bring to a boil
Step 4
Cover and simmer until vegetables are soft. It will take about 20 minutes.
Step 5
Remove celery and a cup of soup and place in a blender, blend until smooth
Step 6
Return it to the pot and let it simmer for a few more minutes
