Gem Flower Cupcakes
When it comes to desserts, nothing delights kids more than cupcakes. If you are looking for an easy-peasy cupcake recipe, this is the one you can bank on. Since, this recipe is egg free; it will come in handy when you run out of eggs. Plus, we are also showing a very quick way to decorate them – with one of the most popular sweet treats for kids – gems.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ cup + 2tbsp powdered sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup thick yogurt
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ½ cup whipped cream
- Colorful confetti/sprinkles
- Cadbury gems for decoration
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius. Line 6 cups muffin tray and set aside.
Step 2
In large bowl, sift together all purpose flour, baking powder & soda bicarbonate.
Step 3
In another bowl, beat softened butter, powdered sugar, milk, yogurt & vanilla essence together till light & fluffy.
Step 4
Add in the sifted flour and whisk till the batter is ready. Pour the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 mins.
Step 5
When done, take them out of the oven and let them cool down to room temperature.
Step 6
Fill the whipped cream in a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
Step 7
Pipe the cream onto the cupcakes. Sprinkle the colourful confetti. Decorate with Cadbury gems. Enjoy!
