We hope the second week of your little one’s food journey was fruitful and enjoyable for both of you. You must have certainly seen some progress your baby has been making and satisfied that you have been feeding him the right foods and keeping a check on his health. Week 3 is somewhat similar, and you will stick to more or less the same foods like fruit purees, rice porridge, vegetable purees, pulses, etc. But, what is interesting about this week is that your child will eat foods in combination. To help you figure out, we have a table that you could refer, but feel free to put your creative hat on to prepare varied but appropriate combinations. Your baby can enjoy these meals twice a day, and you can alternate the breastfeeding sessions for the rest of the meals.
As your baby is introduced to different food combinations, you might find yourself in the same spot again, struggling with the baby rejecting certain foods, but you need to work through patiently. Feel free to swap ingredients if your baby does not seem to like them. You can also prepare nutritional recipes with substituted ingredients to make them more enjoyable for your baby.
