A. hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age. Cradle cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position. to resolve the problem of cradle cap you can apply flutivate e cream over the scalp for one weeaak and then discontinue but if the problem persists then you should consult your doctor for proper treatment.

A. Hi 15 to 20 hair strands of the normal to fall down on an every day basis it is not counted as hair phone so don’t worry about that but yes to procure and save more you can start applying almond oil in the scalp on regular basis
