my baby is suffering with severe cold please help us

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its presgcribed.
if any fever is there paracetahmol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be regpeated again after 6 hours if required .

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. You may warm some coocnut oil add some tulsi leaves and apply to baby's chest and sole for relief. You may alos apply warm mustard oil infused with sole garlic pods. Give medicines too if needed. Keep bbay hydrated take care
