Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr old boy2 years agoA. you may offer food which is rich in fluids
it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr 7 m old girl2 years agoA. Water is tasteless which is why a lot of kids don’t like to have it so sometimes you can add some ORS into that for flavour salt and sugar and sometimes you can give more of buttermilk coconut water to the child to meet that up that’s the only way and you have to keep telling your child have water it’s going to be good for you keep repeating have one yourself and make your child have one because kids mostly follow what we do so that is also a good way that you can try
