Q.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and one of my doc started giving me progesterone injections and when i consulted another doc she said they are not necessary for you but as u have started u can continue till your 12 weeks of pregnancy. Should i go for injections or its ok if i wont take them?

A. see only if needed. see only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust hersee more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you

A. progesterone support is given by lot of doctors in early pregnancy especially if there is prev h/o miscarriage, any spoting, age is more, difficulty in concieving. how much it helps sufficient data still not available, but many prefer to give to be on safer side. choose the doctor u have trust nd follow what they suggest. have a happy pregnancy
