Q.

I am 38 years old women. I am 7 months pregnant. this is my second pregnancy. my all reports are normal and no complications. but I am a working lady so my question is can I travel 40 km daily. Is this safe for my pregnancy.

A. 40 km is a bit much but if it is plain Road without any bumps and you don’t have any complications like low-lying, placenta or short cervix then you can go . Also make sure that you keep moving your feet occasionally so that the blood doesn’t clot in those extremities.

A. may not be advisable for such a long distance travel. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
