hi my baby is 1 month old can I take corona vaccine my second dose due is coming? I am feeding to baby then it is safe?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello , your baby girl is 1 month old and she is taking breast feeding and if you want to take Covid vaccination then it’s okay you can take it and feed her too

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely . According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app. Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . Preserrntly children are y not included in this list. Mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child
