Q.

hi I hv gained 15 kg post delivery. my daughter is 10 months old I still breastfeed her. I want to lose some weight along with I want to stop breastfeeding but my daughter only drink my milk. please suggest what can i do??

A. for weight loss eat mindfully. reduce your calorie and fat intake especially from high fat, sugar and salt containing food and beverages, processed packaged food. have good intake of fibre and low fat protein sources. don't skip breakfast and have good water intake. at least 45 to 60 minutes exercise daily. have an active lifestyle. Continued breastfeeding till 2 years helps in weight loss. It also provides better nutrition to your baby and improves the immunity.
