Q.

her birth weight was 2.4 kg. but at that time she was considered fit and healthy..today she is 4.95kg ..and doctor said this is very good growth according to birth weight..then why who chart is showing lower weight of my baby

A. Mam I don’t know whether you know this concept of calculation of weight gain or not as per Indian standards or WHO you can take it anyways a child should gain at least 500 g every month if you look at that your child is actually gaining very well second WHO standard is not totally based on Indian standards it’s basically international American standard so it’s not hundred percent applicable for Indian kids
