Q.

My baby is 2 months old... At birth his weight was 3.56 kg and when he was 52 days old his weight was 4. 4 kg..He is only on breastmilk... I m little concern about his weight. pls help

A. there's nothing to worry about. breast milk is always sufficient and best for weight gain.. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year

A. Hi make sure that you try to to feed for longer time duration. Like 15-20 mins each breast. So what happens is This way baby will get balanced foremilk and hind milk. Foremilk comes in the beginning for 5-10 mins then comes the hind milk which is rich in fats and can help baby gain weight. So always empty a breast each time duirng feeding. Always try to feed for longer hours that is very beneficial to the baby.
