Q.

he dr, my girl baby 2 n half months old she having cold n cough, dr gave Augmentin n Sinarest.. problem is she is taking Augmentin but not taking Sinarest if we gave her in drop wise she doing like breathing problem... after taking syrup after 2 min she ll become normal why like this can we visit Dr?? we putting saline nasal drop too ..

A. take follow up it is important to give breast feeding or milk at frequent intervals to keep the child hydrated. anti cold medicines are not given without medical consultation what you can give now is nasal saline drops which is salt water and can be given again and again to decrease nasal blockage as well as cough and cold try to prevent temperature variations around the child and keep the child well covered

A. Augmentin is antibiotics which you already is given to your baby so you you should not give Sinarest at the same time after around half an hour giving Sinarest will be good as doctor has prescribed it along with this you should give warm composition on chest back neck and feet and cover baby's head and fit and body with woolen clothes also apply Vicks Vapour rub on the body it will definitely help
