Q.
Can we use make up during pregnancy ? I read many online articles that say to avoid lipstick since it contains lead. I want to do a maternity photoshoot and I’m thinking of getting basic make up done. But I’m worried if it might harm the baby in any way. I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. you can use authentic products which are not harmful or which you use very regularly so that there is no problem to the baby having doing makeup for sometime does not cause any harm to the baby but yes avoid hair straightening or keratin therapy
