You see that the skin is not coming down properly or anything then yes it is a very good idea to keep applying oil regularly because that helps in retracting the skin and it’s better anyways for the child also so if everything is good then there is no necessity but if you think it’s important that the skin is not to coming of properly then you start applying oil regularly it will be good for the check
