#AskTheExpert My daughter is having atopic dermatitis.Can we use coconut oil ?? What all precautions can be taken as she is very itchy at night specially though she doesn’t have red patched now I am using cetaphil restoraderm moisturizer twice a day

Implement a daily bathing and moisturizing routine to protect skin and lock in moisture
Use prescription medication consistently .
Lukewarm soaking baths (less than 10-20 minutes)
Mild soaps that are fragrance free and with a neutral or low pH
Moisturizing skin immediately after bath
