#ASKTHEEXPERT My daughter is 1yr 8month old.. She gets cold very quickly.. Doesn't recover fast.. Even if she wears sweater and cap also a little rain fall will make her get cold.. How to protect her this mansoon.. Does influenza shots helps to fight against this?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of bby antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
