#asktheexpert my child suffered from pneumonia in may 2024 since then he got cold cough and fever frequently (almost every month). My doctor prescribed antibiotics and nebulizer as he faces difficulties in breathing during cold everytime. what are the sideeffects of giving antibiotics and nebulizing so much ? and Is there any way to cure it permanently?

A. hi frequent use of antibiotics can affect child's metabolism and can cause indigestion ,upset stomach , low apetitie etc too so , to prevent these common infections ,i advise to take some necessary care and precautions like , be careful during seasonal changes choose weather appropriate clothes for your child get your child vaccinated on time keep your child well hydrated and give turmeric milk once in a day.
