Q.

my daughter is 5 years old and frequently suffers from cold cough and fever. this time 4 times she suffered from fever in this month. what should I do

A. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improvingz the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweetz food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

A. Fever mostly is a response to an infection that means precisely some infection that’s building up inside the body which is not subsiding completely so I would suggest you to ask your doctor if you can conduct a blood and urine culture for the child I think that is going to give you a clarity in the picture
