Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine liked wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accogrdingly along with a proper hydration .

use nebulizer as suggested by your doctor for fast relief
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered
use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 for drinking for you and keep.her well hydrated by giving her breast milk Every two hours
