Q.

#asktheexpert I have GDM, since last week even after taking insulin, my numbers are increasing. what could be the reason? I checked with Doctor, she said to increase the dose, and said it is safe. Will this diabetes be post delivery and increase in insulin will harm the baby?

A. Ma’am sometimes women see that the diabetes or thyroid problem if they’re facing anything during the time of pregnancy vanishes away as soon as you deliver your child within a month or two but in some cases it can stay for rest of the life so there’s no guarantee to anything
