#AskTheExpert I have a 12days old baby girl and i don't know whether its right to give her coconut oil massage or she may catch cold?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. if umbilical cord stub has been dried & fallen off u can give a oil massage gently The purpose of giving a gentle massage to your baby you can make use of any natural oil like coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, sesame oil which ever you wish to. the massage should be given in a very gentle manner that relaxes your baby and puts him to a better sleep

First of all oil massage is not going to lead to any kind of cold issued to the child that’s absolutely not right and second if you are so scared about using it then why don’t you warm it a little bit and then you start using it I think that is going to be a good enough option to go for Write Your Answer Here
