Sprouted Moong Chaat Recipe for Babies

Ingredients

Mustard seeds ¼ Tsp
Cumin seeds ¼ Tsp

Dahi (optional) 2 Tsp

Instructions

Let’s make the sprouted moong chaat! Here are the step-by-step directions to prepare this delicious snack.

  1. In a large non-stick pan, heat the oil.
  2. Add the cumin and mustard seeds to the oil.
  3. When the seeds crackle, add the onions, and sauté for 1 minute on medium flame.
  4. Then, add the tomatoes, turmeric powder and sprouted moong. Sauté well for 1 – 2 minutes.
  5. Next, add ¼ cup of water and salt, and mix well.
  6. Cook the mixture well for 4  -5 minutes on medium flame, and stirr occasionally.
  7. Remove the moong mixture from the flame once it is partially cooked.
  8. Allow it to cool for some time. Then, take small portions in a bowl.
  9. Garnish it with 2 tsp of curd (optional), chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, and a sprinkle of salt.
  10. The healthy moong chaat is ready to serve!
