Macaroni Cheese Sandwich
This recipe packs in the gooey cheesy goodness in the form of kids’ two favourite food items, macaroni and cheese. Its rich and creamy taste is bound to impress your kids. This way you would get them to eat homemade food over the unhealthy junk. This sandwich, particularly, has potentially endless possibilities to play around with the flavours, out of which we have presented one.

Ingredients
- 150 gm macaroni
- 250 gm cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tbsp butter
- black pepper powder
- 8 bread slices
- 3 cups milk
- 1/3 cup flour
Method
Step 1
In a pan, keep four cups of water to boil. Next, add macaroni and cook it until it becomes soft. Remove it from heat.
Step 2
In a saucepan, take butter, allow it to melt and then add flour. Mix it well and let the flour turn light golden. Now, slowly add milk and make a thick paste. Add black pepper and stir it well. In the end, add boiled macaroni and stir all ingredients well.
Step 3
Keep it for one minute and then remove it from heat.
Step 4
On a plate, arrange bread slices. Apply butter on one side of the bread slices.
Step 5
Also, grease the sandwich toaster with a little butter, and place the bread slice butter side down on the toaster. Now, add macaroni and spread it over the slice evenly. Sprinkle some cheese and place the other bread slice.
Step 6
Toast it until both sides turn golden brown.
Step 7
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
