A Movie Time With My Daughter
I enjoy doing various activities with my daughter, and spending time with her is the most enjoyable aspect of my day. I’ve been so joyful and blessed from the day she was born since God has blessed me with his most beautiful creature.
She enjoys all of her activities and academics, but her favourite pastime is watching Disney movies, and we recently watched Disney Pixar’s “Turning Red.” The film is entertaining to see. It’s the story of a mother-daughter relationship, a father-daughter relationship, and, most importantly, sincere friendship and pure love.
The film tells the narrative of a freshly turned adolescent girl who is a scholar and excels in all she does and who, above all, does not want to disobey her mother in any manner. She has a group of three female friends that are always there for her, no matter how bad her situation or circumstances get.
My daughter stunned me by saying, “I love you, mumma,” after we finished watching the movie. She stated, “I am confident that you will never impose anything on me.” I was taken aback for a brief minute, but I quickly responded that I would never force you to do anything against your choice. This film taught me that I need to look after my daughter and be her supporter and counsellor, not the other way around.
No two people can have the same life choices or opinions. Distinct minds hold different perspectives and think in different ways. We need to comprehend a child’s psychology. Every child is a one-of-a-kind creation of God. Every child has a unique set of abilities bestowed upon them. We need to mould our child’s abilities into capabilities with love and a lot of patience, not by force.
