Baby Speak: The First 15 Days of My Life
Hello,
I am baby Nirvaan. I was born on 16/02/2020, and I am 4 months old now. I met my daddy only during the first 15 days after my birth because I am at my grandma’s place now with my mummy. My daddy played with me all the time and always hugged me in his arms. I was suffering from jaundice when I was 3 days old. He didn’t sleep for four consecutive days when I was admitted to the hospital. He took care of mamma and me.
He gave me all his love. He clicked so many pictures of mine, but I have very few pictures with him. I miss my daddy so much. I want to meet him soon and play with him again. He teaches me so many new things.
But my mummy says it is unsafe to travel back to our home in Mumbai now because I am very small. Mummy is getting all my vaccinations done here on time. I am safe here in a village with my mummy. He video calls me every day, but I miss his warm hugs and his love. I know even he missed me a lot.
He wants to come here and meet me, but he can’t come. I am growing up very fast and learning new things. I want my daddy to see me growing up and playing.
My mamma and I pray to God for the coronavirus pandemic to end soon, so that I can meet my daddy. There could be so many babies like me who couldn’t meet their daddies. I pray for a miracle to happen that allows them to meet their families and stay safe and happy together. I love you so much, daddy. I couldn’t meet on for your first Father’s Day, but I will come soon and play with you. We will have lots of fun. Happy Father’s Day to you!
