Journey of Motherhood: Being a Mother Is Amazing, While Trying to Be a Know-it-all!
On the rainy morning of 18 June, 2019, and with the thundering skies being witness to my emergency Cesarean section, we finally got to hold our 34 weeks old bundle of joy in our arms. I was adamant to get it done under general anaesthesia, but on much persuasion of the treating obstetrician, I went for a lumbar one, and well, I must say that seeing your little one cry his way out into your world is the most amazing feeling you could ever describe!
What you feel when you see your bundle of joy close to you is something only the heart of a mother can tell. What you feel when those little hands hold yours for the first time is something only a mother’s heart can express. What you feel when you see the little one, who heard your heart beat from within, actually taking his first breath in this world is something only a mother’s love can describe.
And well, that’s why I have titled this blog as such, as being a mother is indeed the most amazing thing that can happen to a woman. It’s that amazing thing that changes your life forever, that makes you feel complete, that brings to you a new challenge, experience, and lesson every day, and new joy in those little things every day.
