Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. OUTSIDE FOOD is started after 6 mmonths of ahe of the child.
In COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING start with two rules
Rule number 1 is that you have to give the food in the form which the child can swallow
Rule number 2 is that always give a new food for for 5 to 6 days to see whether the child is able to digest that food or not as well as it will helpp in creating the taste in the child.
you can gradually start all types of food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. You have to start initially with less amount and gradually you can increase the amount.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. Its Not during sixth month it is during seventh month so as of now I would advise you to continue with breastfeeding only and once your child enters the age of seventh month that would be the right time for you to introduce semisolid food so to begin with you can go for Dal rice water and then vegetable and fruit purée on regular basis
