Q.
this is my first pregnancy & I had cervical cerclage in 15 weeks pregnancy with cervix length 3 cm and now i am 28 week pregnant i want to know that which time is perfect for removal of cerclage and normal delivery is possible or not?? as i am on complete bed rest after cerclage and taking progesterone shots with medication

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Hello dear Usually the cerclage will be removed around 36 weeks. So have a talk with your doctor regarding the indication of the cerclage and also about the progesterone shots
