Q.

#Pediatrics my almost 8 months old daughter smiles in response and laughs normally. while playing peek a boo, she does not laugh always. she will look at us while playing and wait for us to come out and show our face but might not laugh always. is this behaviour while playing peek a boo normal. she otherwise can sit, crawl and stands with support. please suggest worried

A. it's quite normal don't worry about it or stress about it . . .if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it . . . . . . .. . .

A. Hello ma’am It is not necessary that a child would react in the same manner every now and then so maybe your child is not very happy so you know comfortable with it at that point of time which is why your child behaves like This. It’s very normally not very about anything

Q. #Pediatrics my 8 month old can sit independently, crawling and is pulling herself to stand. she smiles, laughs and plays well. she responds to her name many a times, likes to look into mirror, plays peek a boo and tries to catch shadows. she signals to be picked up. she seems to recognise very few words like when we say pigeon, she sometimes looks out of the window. concerns 1. she copies expressions and actions later and not immediately 2. not yet clapping or waving and seems to be not interested. 3. while she smiles and laughs in response.she does not try to talk much or make any sound in response whereas she can babble, makes sounds of aa, etc. worried. is this age appropriate??
