#Pediatrics my 8 month old can sit independently, crawling and is pulling herself to stand. she smiles, laughs and plays well. she responds to her name many a times, likes to look into mirror, plays peek a boo and tries to catch shadows. she signals to be picked up. she seems to recognise very few words like when we say pigeon, she sometimes looks out of the window. concerns 1. she copies expressions and actions later and not immediately 2. not yet clapping or waving and seems to be not interested. 3. while she smiles and laughs in response.she does not try to talk much or make any sound in response whereas she can babble, makes sounds of aa, etc. worried. is this age appropriate??
