#ParentingClinic my baby is in NICU with bilirubin level 16.5 yesterday. He might get discharged today What precautions do I need to take ?

A. probably the baby is having more serum bilirubin which needs proper treatment like phototherapy also you are treating doctor is a correct person to advise you accordingly in this regard

Q. Dear Dr's , Our Baby is now 27 days old , During Birth we found bilirubin level was 14 we have given 2 days photo therapy it was 8 we discharged from hospital . Now today in 27 days when we checking its 16 dr again suggested for photo therapy for two days. pls let's us know how can we treat this home .and what are cause for increasing bilirubin level. thanks.
