My baby was detected with jaundice on 14 April and discharged from NICU on 15th April with bilirubin level 8.1. However, still his eyes are somewhat yellow. Is this a matter of concern? Kindly help.

A. generally it will take some more time for the yellow coloration to disappear jfor further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
