My baby is 7 days old. She was given phototherapy when her bilirubin level was 13.7 and got discharged from nicu on 4th day when bilirubin level was 12.07. When we repeated test after 48 hours, 6th day the level increased and is 13.7 now. Should I be worried and repeat phototherapy?

A. hello newnatal jaundice is normal and repeat the photo therapy only if advice by a doctor and not otherwise and it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly which would be better and safe and absolutely nothing to worry about not a problem
