Q.
My son was administered the measles vaccine when he had entered his 9th month in September 2020 and not actually completed 9 months. We have not yet vaccinated him for MMR at 15 months due to current lockdown. He is now 16months old. I am getting very skeptical on this delay. can someone please advise. #Vaccination

Author of questionGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. Thank you Dr Patil. I understand he is partially covered by his first dose. Will get him vaccinated for 15 months dose now. still wish it hadn't been delayed by so much. Thank you for the speedy response 🙏

Hello, your baby boy is 16 months old and he has received MR vaccinations at his 09 months of age it’s ok and he was due for mmr vaccination at 15 months then he is partially covered for measles and rubella sasso give mmr vaccination at 15 months should be given

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. you should not delay the vaccine so you should we consult your doctor for rescheduling the appointment accordingly because in this pandemic situation it is wise not to step out of the home but vaccine is important if it has been already postpone so much
