Q.

my baby was given 2nd vaccination at government facility where they have not given pcv and ipv as per government schedule, as per government schedule 2 nd and 3rd dose of pcv/ipv will be given in 3rd and 9th month. But due to painful vaccination at government facility for 2nd dose my baby suffered high fever of 102f so now during 3rd month we have given 3rd dose at private hospital painless vaccination. And from now on we would like to continue vaccination at private hospital. But for the missed 2nd dose of PCV/IPV doctor told that DTwP/DTaP+Hib+IPV+HepB are all in one injection that is Hexaxim and IPV is not seperately available in single injection. So doctor suggested that in next month we can give OPV instead of IPV , it will not be a problem and PCV will be given as a separate injection. Please let me know that one dose of OPV can be given instead of IPV?

A. No there is no problem because you know the doctor suggesting you so they would have a better idea about it so kindly proceed with what Dr has to suggest they will give you the best suggestion what would be feasible as per the current situation this is completely fine
