Q.

my baby is gng to complete 5 mnths by this 17 th...my doc suggested easifud rice cerelac...is it good?or should I keep Nestle cerelac..which one is best?can we add salt or sugar in cerelac?

A. I would not suggest to start top food early.. talk to him for more detail. Breast milk is the recommended source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six months.

A. No salt. If your baby has doubled birth weight follow your doctors diet chart. Intilaly simple purees like carrot, potato, banana and simple waters like rice or dal water can be given. These are easy digesting foods for baby. Then second week you can continue with other purees or combination of two fruits veggies, the third week you can give instant homemade rice cereal. Slowly you can add a veggie or fruit to the rice cereal this would give a different taste. One meal a day is enough for six month old baby. With few spoons of water.
